MyChiro

  • Do you take insurance?

Currently, MyChiro is not in-network with any insurance providers. However, we strive to make our services accessible and affordable through various membership options, packages, and flexible payment plans.

  • My chiropractor created a plan with more visits, why does it take more than one treatment?

Chiropractic care is similar to orthodontics for your spine. Initially, we focus on retraining your body's vertebrae, ligaments, and muscles to achieve proper alignment. The duration of treatment varies based on individual factors such as overall health, posture, hobbies, work stress, and lifestyle habits. Some patients experience immediate results, while others may require several months of care. At MyChiro, we recognize that everyone is different and create personalized treatment plans accordingly.

  • What is an adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment involves applying a specific force in a precise direction to help realign vertebrae. This technique is used on subluxated joints to improve motion and gradually restore normal positioning, reducing tension in surrounding muscles and nerves. Adjustments can be performed using the chiropractor's hands or specialized instruments that deliver gentle, accurate thrusts. With extensive training and clinical experience, chiropractors become highly skilled in various adjustment techniques, making chiropractic care safe and effective for all family members.

  • What can I expect during my first visit?

Your initial visit to MyChiro starts with a comprehensive case history to understand your health background, including surgeries, accidents, and the onset of your condition. Following this, we conduct a thorough chiropractic and physical examination. If needed, we may refer you to Envision Imaging for additional tests such as X-rays, MRI, CT, or ultrasound. After reviewing the findings, your chiropractor will discuss them with you and may suggest a plan of chiropractic adjustments and exercises to stabilize your spine and initiate the healing process. We monitor your progress through periodic examinations and follow-up reports.

  • What is a subluxation?

A subluxation refers to any joint in the body that is slightly misaligned. When subluxations occur in the spine, they can put pressure on spinal nerves as they exit between vertebrae. These nerves connect to various organs throughout the body. The pressure on these nerves can lead to symptoms of illness or pain in the affected areas or in other areas to which the pain may be referred.
